Every client has a different budget requirement. A very popular way to save money for my clients has been to select a template, and use my expertise to customize it to their liking. On average this can save them $500 to $5,000. It involves setting up WordPress on our server, designing a logo (if necessary), customizing graphically whatever is needed, manipulating existing code, figuring out optimal content layout, and coding the necessary search engine optimization. However, it does depend on the online presence you seek, and how rigid your competition may be. In certain circumstances a fully customized site is the best and only solution.
