We are a licensed & certified website design & development company, based in beautiful Saint George, Utah. J Man Design Group is, in fact, a one-person studio run by myself, Jason Williams. Why only one person do you ask?
Staying small keeps me lean, flexible and user centered. I am able to provide a personal one-on-one experience. I’ve found there are few things web related that I can’t provide. In instances I can’t, I’ll help supervise and sub-contract it to a necessary expert.
Qualifications
After 15 years of partnering in the restaurant industry, I realized technology is where my true passion laid. I learned some amazingly valuable customer service, project management, and employee management skills while in the restaurant business. It also taught me a huge array of skills in business, which, I translate into helping web businesses succeed. Now after 5 years in the web industry, I continue loving every minute of it. Check out my portfolio for a small portion of work I’ve done. I also spent some time professionally instructing Mac computer classes at our local Simply Mac.
Education & Certifications
I am currently finishing my degree in IT with a software emphasis. I am certified from CIW in Web Design, Web Technologies, and Javascript. I also hold an A+ certification (which is a broad spectrum IT certification) and a Project+ certification (which is a project management certification) from CompTIA. I have, and continue to spend countless hours self educating myself in usability, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Javascipt, WordPress, jQuery, SEO and PHP. One thing I love about building websites–the minute you think you’ve figured it out, along comes a better way, and it is my job to know it.
